Ways to improve Congregation of the Holy Spirit
[edit]Hi, I'm Dan Koehl. Kwekubo, thanks for creating Congregation of the Holy Spirit!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. large parts of the article seem to be copy and paste from http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/07416a.htm which is a violation against general Copyright laws Wikipedias rules.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Hi. I can only assume you're referring to this revision from 13 years ago. Could you please explain why you left this message on my page rather than whoever added the content? (I'm aware the AfD discussion has closed). --Kwekubo (talk) 14:07, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry, I see now that all you did was making a redirect, I used the page curation tool, which semi automatically saw you as creat of an article, when all you did was a redirect. So sorry if I created any frustration. Dan Koehl (talk) 14:39, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
Deletion discussion about Congregation of the Holy Spirit
[edit]Hello, Kwekubo,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Congregation of the Holy Spirit should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Congregation of the Holy Spirit .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,
Dan Koehl (talk) 10:57, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Sinn Féin logo.png
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Sinn Féin logo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.
ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
Articles for deletion/Advanced Hazmat Life Support (2nd nomination) Comment
[edit]There is a discussion re: nomination for deletion of Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Advanced_Hazmat_Life_Support_(2nd_nomination). I think it is noteworthy in the same vein as BLS, ACLS, etc. albeit more minor. I would welcome your comments. GeneralBelly (talk) 19:44, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for November 7
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Adjustable pressure-limiting valve, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Breathing system (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Dunne v National Maternity Hospital moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Dunne v National Maternity Hospital, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]Semiprotection at French mother sauces
[edit]Hey,
I was wondering about your rationale for requesting semi at French mother sauces. I'm a bit worried that it will discourage a lot of potential contributors, including User:173.52.198.195 who was doing a lot of good work. We don't solely serve Frenchguycooking's viewers, but I think they might get a better appreciation of what's going on if it was left open. Also, what they're doing isn't strictly vandalism, just misguided. Cheers, Ovinus (talk) 17:45, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi. I do appreciate the concern about not biting new contributors. My specific concern was that a number of IP addresses were reverting the article back to Frenchguycooking's last edit, removing all intervening good-faith changes - for example here and here. Kwekubo (talk) 18:02, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- Yeah, that is really frustrating. I'm not trying to save the pedia's reputation or whatever, but I do see this as a valuable opportunity for attracting people who are interested in more digging, and maybe to set the record straight. Obviously plenty of viewers will just see that his work has been substantially changed and declare the cabal of "mods" has struck, but I hope a few will see the importance of continued editing, starting with Frenchguycooking. To that end, I put an FAQ on the talk page, but I know that's not what it's typically used for. I think some talk page message would be nice, though. Cheers, Ovinus (talk) 18:29, 13 December 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Invitation to take part in a survey about medical topics on Wikipedia
[edit]Dear fellow editor,
I am Piotr Konieczny, a sociologist of new media at Hanyang University (and User:Piotrus on Wikipedia). I would like to better understand Wikipedia's volunteers who edit medical topics, many associated with the WikiProject Medicine, and known to create some of the highest quality content on Wikipedia. I hope that the lessons I can learn from you that I will present to the academic audience will benefit both the WikiProject Medicine (improving your understanding of yourself and helping to promote it and attract new volunteers) and the wider world of medical volunteering and academia. Open access copy of the resulting research will be made available at WikiProject's Medicine upon the completion of the project.
All questions are optional. The survey is divided into 4 parts: 1 - Brief description of yourself; 2 - Questions about your volunteering; 3 - Questions about WikiProject Medicine and 4 - Questions about Wikipedia's coverage of medical topics.
Please note that by filling out this questionnaire, you consent to participate in this research. The survey is anonymous and all personal details relevant to your experience will be kept private and will not be transferred to any third party.
I appreciate your support of this research and thank you in advance for taking the time to participate and share your experiences! If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me at my Wikipedia user page or through my email listed on the survey page (or by Wikipedia email this user function).
The survey is accessible through the LINK HERE.

Your draft article, Draft:Voluntary aid society
[edit]Hello, Kwekubo. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Voluntary aid society".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

The article Mirrors and forks has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
"X and Y" -> a disambiguation page with separate entries listing X and Y is not useful, compare Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mathematics and statistics
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
